F. Dufresne is a dynamic distributor of petroleum products well established in Québec City and the surrounding area. Founded in 1950, the company inaugurated its first Eko service station in 1978 and already had about 10 or so gas stations three years after.
In 2009, the company acquired 105 service stations operating under the Sonerco and Axco banners. The company is also very active in the distribution of heating oil and the sale of equipment for this purpose.
The c-store operator is the only one in Quebec to have created its own loyalty program called Milliplein.
F. Dufresne also acts as a partner of Suncor Energy as operator of the Cadeko (“Dépanneur” brand) service stations that exclusively sells Petro-Canada products.
