EXCLUSIVE: DepQuébec Unveils The First Ranking Of The Top 100 Most Liked Depanneurs In Québec!

DepQuébec is very proud to introduce the first ranking of the Top 100 most liked independent depanneurs in Quebec.

This unique ranking is based on the only irrefutable data that is available, i.e. the number of “likes” that appear on the facebook page of depanneurs that have the merit of having one.

DepQuébec visited the vast majority of them and prepared the following ranking.

From the outset, we set ourselves some rules.

• We have exclusively included independent or franchised depanneurs and excluded “corporate” ones, most of which do not have a single facebook page for each store;

• We have excluded grocery stores (which offer meat and fresh vegetables) as well as supermarkets to focus only on convenience stores;

• We excluded butcher shops, bakeries and pastries as well as breweries that operate a small convenience store adjacent to the production site.

All this, of course, to the best of our knowledge, in good faith and with the limited means at our disposal. So, be indulgent, but let us know of any errors or omissions so that we can continue to improve the ranking!

Our goal is noble: to pay tribute to all those owners and their team who invest time and energy in their clientele conversation by working hard on their facebook page and who sometimes wonder why to go through so much work.

And while it is not uncommon for a fine butcher, a renowned pastry shop or other to get tens of thousands of “likes”, it’s a much more difficult challenge for a convenience store that is offering the mere basic categories of lottery, beer, tobacco and gasoline.

Several nevertheless managed to stand out with a ton of determination and creativity, and we are proud to pay them a tribute today.

Others can also do so by focusing on some special category that stands out, such as microbrewery beers (ex: Dépanneur Peluso, Marché du Boisé) or confectionery (Biscuiterie Oscar).

So, stop being modest! If you are among the 100, proudly display your new status by posting the symbol of your success at the entrance of your store or inside of it!

To all these wonderful depanneurs who work hard to stay close to their customers and stand out, we say bravo!
